ACCESS PLUS F-200IP
Nuera's Access Plus F-Series Voice
over IP (VoIP) gateways and Voice Frame Relay Access
Devices (VFRAD) provides quality voice communications
and advanced enterprise networking features that significantly
reduce operating costs while increasing control and
flexibility to public and private frame relay network
and IP network environments. The F-Series product line
includes: VoIP gateways, VFRADs and Session Initiation
Protocol (SIP) F200SIP gateways.
The F200SIP gateway also runs the industry-standard
SIP protocol. Interfacing with other SIP devices, the
F200SIP provides enhanced services such as unified messaging.
F200IP FEATURES
Call Routing
Nuera's F-Series provides complete
call processing by switching each call independently
with full digit and interface translation. This minimizes
the number of ports needed and eliminates tandem calls
on the network. Call switching allows the voice network
to be fully meshed at minimum cost. Digit translation
provides a unified dialing scheme capable of 20 digit
translation and 40 digit outpulsing. It can complete
any-to-any connectivity, independent of voice interfaces.
Tandem Free Operation
The F-Series' sophisticated call routing
allows tandem free operation which eliminates multiple
voice compression/decompression when routing through
another F-Series gateway. Calls routed through multiple
F-Series gateways would only be compressed at the origination
and decompressed at the terminating gateway. This improves
voice quality and allows for unique network designs.
Call Accounting
The F-Series also has a sophisticated
call accounting system that allows you to generate invoices,
rate calls and reconcile billing. This advanced system
generates call detail records for per-call billing.
Calling Cards
Calling cards are available through
Nuera's F-Series Talking IP product. This is a robust
Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, which supports
both prepaid and postpaid calling cards. Multiple F-Series
can use one Talking IP, which minimizes administration
and maintenance.
Voice Quality
Rated #1 in the industry for the best
voice quality, lowest delay and most efficient bandwidth
usage as determined by independent lab tests, the F-Series
can deliver toll quality voice with a bandwidth usage
as small as 4.8 kbps per voice channel using its proprietary
E-CELP voice compression technology. Top voice quality
in combination with advanced networking features such
as call routing, call processing and data switching
make the F-Series units the optimal solution for both
carrier and enterprise communications.
